Nightfall over Wanaka
Driving up the road to Mount Cook, there is something special about the mood when you look up the sky on a rainy day and see nothing but a dense blanket of grey, sting-featured cloud formations hanging dark and heavy around the mountains. The wind howling threateningly as it moves through the valley. Moments like this remind me of how lucky I am to be a photographer and exposed to all kinds of environments – ice frozen, standing outside, camera-ready.
