Meet Your Guide: Karolin Schild
Born in 1986 amidst the landscapes of East Germany, Karolin Schild’s early years were shaped by the rich history and unique culture of the region, including almost five years spent navigating life in the DDR. At the age of 16, fueled by a thirst for knowledge and adventure, she made the bold decision to move to Munich to pursue her studies.
For a decade, Munich became Karolin’s home, where she immersed herself in the vibrant culture and dynamic atmosphere of the city. It was amidst the historic streets of Marienplatz where her passion for sharing Bavaria’s beauty with others was ignited. As a young girl, her grandparents’ visits to Munich sparked her dream of becoming a tour guide, a dream that would eventually take her across continents.
At 25, Karolin embarked on a journey of world travel, exploring new horizons and discovering the breathtaking landscapes of Australia. It was here, amidst the stunning vistas and boundless wilderness, that she found her true calling as a landscape photographer.
Today, Karolin’s tours are a reflection of her diverse experiences and deep-rooted connection to both Bavaria and Australia. With her intimate knowledge of Bavaria’s history and culture, combined with her passion for photography, she invites you to join her on a photographic journey through the enchanting landscapes of Bavaria, where every moment is infused with history, beauty, and the warmth of her Bavarian hospitality.

Day 1: Arrival in Munich
- Arrival: Pickup from the airport and transfer to our hotel in Munich.
- Evening: Enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner at the renowned Augustiner Klosterwirt, soaking in the atmosphere of this historic brewery. Afterwards, we’ll explore the city’s vibrant nightlife and capture the unique architecture of Munich’s Ubahn stations and iconic landmarks like Marienplatz or Westfriedhof through our lenses.
Day 2: Munich Exploration and Transfer to Bad Reichenhall
- Morning: After breakfast, we’ll take a leisurely walk through Munich, photographing its charming streets and architectural wonders.
- Afternoon: Transfer to Bad Reichenhall, a picturesque spa town nestled in the Bavarian Alps, known for its stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage.
Day 3-4: Bad Reichenhall Discovery
- Full Days: Immerse yourself in the beauty of Bad Reichenhall and its surroundings, capturing the tranquil landscapes, charming architecture, and local culture. From exploring the historic town center to hiking in the breathtaking Alps, there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture the essence of Bavaria.
Day 5-7: Garmisch-Partenkirchen Excursion
- Transfer: Journey to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a picturesque town surrounded by majestic mountains and lush forests.

Day 8: Return to Munich
