14TH ANNUAL BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS PHOTOGRAPHER KAROLIN SCHILD FROM AUSTRALIA.
LOS ANGELES 15/10/2019 – Photographer Karolin Schild of Australia was presented with the 14th Annual Black and White Spider Awards Nominee title in the category of BLACK AND WHITE NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow streamed Saturday, October 17, 2019.
The live online gala was attended by 11,829 photography fans around the globe who logged on to watch the climax of the industry’s most important event for color photography. 12th Annual Jury members included captains of the industry from Sotheby’s, New York; Benetton, Ponzano Veneto; The Art Channel, London; Kolle Rebbe, Hamburg; Droga5, New York; Preus Museum, Norway; Art Beatus, Hong Kong; Forsman & Bodenfors, Gothenburg; Wieden & Kennedy, Portland; Fox Broadcasting Network, Los Angeles; Gallery Kong, Seoul; and Phillips, New York who honored Color Masters with 761 title awards and 1,032 nominees in 37 categories.
The live online gala was attended by industry leaders and the photography community from around the globe who logged on to watch the climax of the world’s premier event for black and white photography. 14th Annual Jury members included captains of the industry from Musee de l’Elysee, Lausanne; The Guardian, London; Contrasto Galleria, Milan; Travel/Discovery Channel, New York; Harper’s Bazaar, UK; Portuguese Center of Photography, Porto; Aeroplastics Contemporary, Brussels; Silvan Faessler Fine Art, Zurich; ADK Creative One Inc., Tokyo; Galerie Hubert Winter, Vienna; Conny Dietzschold Galleries, Sydney; and Pereira O’Dell in New York who honored Spider Fellows with 758 coveted title awards and 909 nominees in 32 categories.

Thousands of images are submitted to our program each year with only a few hundred making it to Nominee status. The Nominee shortlist consists of images that have received the highest percentage of votes overall and is the shortlist from which the winners are decided.
